KitchenTip: How to get the most juice out of a lemon
Starting today, I will occasionally be posting some useful kitchen tips here, Today's tip is about with getting the most juice out of a lemon. When I use lemons for a drink or recipe, I'd like to get the most out of it but the skin can sometimes be too thick or tough.
This was taught to me in high school and has been using it for lemons and dayap. All you have to do is roll the lemon in a circular fashion using the palm of your hand, applying pressure as you go. A minute or so will do. Then slice open the lemon and squeeze out the juice.
